My mother, Brenda, kicked my eight-year-old daughter, Hannah, out of her house because she refused to do heavy chores while my sister’s kids made fun of her and called her terrible names. My sister, Brenda, finally called me late in the afternoon and asked, “Is Hannah with you? I haven’t seen her around the house all day.” I screamed into the phone, “I am stuck at my desk at work! What do you mean she is missing?”
